Kerry Kalish, Designer | Specifier
Kerry J. Kalish combines her BA in Architecture and her consistent desire to gain education and knowledge with past experiences as an apprentice in commercial property appraisal to progress in the architectural community. Her skills of examining architectural documents with her up-to-date training in Autodesk and education in structures, materials, design, 2D graphics, and 3D modeling make her a valuable and diversified team member of HALL | AEC PA.
As Designer/Specifier, Kerry is a member of the project team with an array of responsibilities encompassing all stages of the facility life cycle.
With her ability to develop, organize and coordinate construction drawings and specifications with innate skills for managing procurement procedures, and her valuable knowledge of AIA Contracts and Forms, she is able to develop and provide attentive administration of construction contracts including articulate submittal review and expeditions response to RFIs with a strength in accelerate schedule projects.
Along with her development of traditional skills in Architecture, Kerry is following her passion for building diagnostics and forensics. She assists in property condition assessments and reporting providing continuous development of knowledge and understanding of the facility life cycle. She uses her ever expanding knowledge and skill set to assist in legal support including document review, development of graphics and reports, and responses to legal inquiries including interrogatory discovery and subpoenas.
Kerry is accumulating her architectural experience hours with the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB) and developing her skills to work toward becoming a licensed Architect. She is currently enrolled in the University of North Carolina at Charlotte to obtain her Bachelor of Architecture and is preparing to sit for her licensing exams.
